I’m a bit nervous about going Meat Free – what if I don’t enjoy the food?

There’s really nothing to worry about – there are so many tasty recipes out there, that it would be difficult not to enjoy it! If you’re really worried, take it one step at a time – take a look at your favourite meals, and see where you can make a switch from meat to something else. An easy one to start off with is something as simple as spaghetti bolognaise – cook as you normally would, but swap the meat for soya mince.

Once you’ve given this a go (and we promise you’ll like it!) try swapping more meat for soya or veg based products. Supermarkets now all make their own soya based products, so it won’t break the bank if you just want to give it a try.

If you really don’t enjoy eating vegetarian foods, you can simply try to cut down on how much meat you eat. The less you eat, the less you’ll miss it.
